I know this is late news, but I meant to post this video as soon as I saw it on Monday. The Texas A&M Fightin’ Aggies defeated the t.u. longhorns 12 to 7 in a major upset at the annual day-after-Thanksgiving football game. The following video is a great clip of highlights from the game. Enjoy!
I went to the 2005 Houston Auto Show last weekend with my family and am just now getting around to putting up the pics and posting about it. After entering the showroom at the Reliant Center, we were almost immediately greeted by the Ford GT display, one of my favorite cars to look at. You can see the rest of the highlights by either clicking on the picture or using this link. Other highlights included just about all of the Mercedes models, a cool-looking Ford Bronco concept, getting to sit in a convertible 350Z, all of the Audi models, seeing the Mini Cooper convertible, tripping over myself to see the Saturn Sky, and being impressed by the length of the Cadillac Sixteen concept. Dissapointments included almost all of the Lexuses (will they ever update their look?), the new Mercedes CLS class (yuk), and the fact that I didn’t get to stay in the Audis as long as I wanted.
My good friend Trey created his first blog recently and I decided to show him mine for reference. I’ve never shown anyone my blog because (1) I think I’ve always seen it as a personal diary of sorts and (2) I haven’t updated my blog in FOREVER. He’s using WordPress, which I like as well, but I wanted to show him what MovableType was like. And the rest is history.
I think I might just pick up blogging again. I’ll probably continue to do movie reviews and things of that sort, but I’ll definitely start chronicling my experience with Sharepoint.
Now that the whole nation has gone Atkins and anti-carb, Coke is following suit by releasing a product called C2. It’s basically a Coke with less than half the sugar. I was skeptical before I tried it, but now I’m a believer. It really tastes great! So, if I’m in the mood for a Coke, but I want to keep my girlish figure, I just go for the C2.
I’m on my second day back at work after vacation and I’m finished with the barrage of makeup work and following up that I needed to do. I should be focusing on some things I need to do first, but since I haven’t posted in a while, I think I can take 5 minutes to do so.
We went to a lakehouse in Lake Livingston that Trisha’s dad rented out for the family. It was very nice, fun, and relaxing to be away from everything for a week. Here are some pics.
I strained my lower back muscles while preparing my backyard for my daughter, Addison’s, birthday party. Sadly enough, it was all in vain since no one ever went back there. I went to the doctor last Monday since it had been hurting for two weeks. Basically he said that my hamstrings and glutes are so weak that I’ve trained my brain to use my back instead. Wonderful. So, I have to do these stretches everyday so that I can retrain my brain to use my hams and glutes. I just keep praying that God will heal me - and I think it’s helping. I’ve taken my back sooo much for granted. It’s unbelievable how your life can be so affected by it.
