I know what you mean about feeling self conscience about eating on film. They had a shot of me chewing a way too big bite of my burger during a shot as well. I was hoping they would edit that out but nope... they kept it in. All in all the experience was really incredible... not that I have anything to compare it to... but it was just a whole lot of fun.
