View Source Chart extension for Firefox

November 17th, 2006

Trey and I were just looking at the source for a web site on his computer and I was amazed at the beautiful and easy-to-read source he was looking at. He was using the View Source Chart extension for Firefox, which I now think is a must have for web developers. The link to the 2.5.02 version of the extension is here, but the author’s page has version 2.6 that you can pay $3 for and will show collapsible JavaScript blocks. The $3 is good for all future upgrades AND can come with your own CSS to style the source.

Good find! I love the color separation.
